The webinar took place on November 30th. It focused on how our projects are delivering and diversifying revenue in rural Africa through bio-based solutions. It discussed access to insightful information from our experts in agricultural systems, bio-based solutions and beyond. The project DIVAGRI (DIVAGRI) aims at increasing the productivity, income and economic opportunities of subsistence and smallholder farmers in arid and semi-arid regions of Sub-Saharan Africa by implementing state-of-the-art, innovative bio-based solutions that will improve agricultural production, enable diversification of crops and increase added-value, create environmental, social and economic sustainability, and generate new local economic opportunities.
To that end, DIVAGRI aims at outreaching a very large number of practitioners in the African Union, the European Union and ‘Associated Countries’ and beyond. For instance, this is done via generating structured synergies with other comparable initiatives, such as project Bio4Africa, but not only funded by EU Programmes.
DIVAGRI launches a Webinar Series as part of the project dissemination action, and we would like to invite you to join our next webinar on November 29th at 11h00 CET.”
The main aim of our first webinar is to introduce both projects to the participants and identify a series of pertinent thematic to be discussed between respective communities of practice and beyond also within webinar formats but not only.
The webinar series develops as a beacon for the project’s visibility and as drivers to further dissemination or development activities, to be programmed along the project’s scope.
